News

The next meeting will be during the 70th Annual Meeting of the German Geophysical Society at Ruhr-UniversityBochum, presumably on Monday, March 15, 2010, from 17 p.m. on.
On September, 30 and October, 1, 2009 an international Workshop on Induced Polarization in Near-Surface Geophysics took place in Bonn (Organisation Andreas Kemna). Link to Workshop-Website

History

The technical comittee "IP" (induced polarisation) was founded as an informal group of scientits and practitioners working on IP and SIP (spectral induced polarisation, complex resistivity) at the DGG general assembly 2004 in Berlin. Since 2005 we are an official working group of DGG. A special session on SIP is a result of our activities. We are meeting twice a year. The working group is open to everyone for active or passive membership.
